1. Information We Collect

- Profile Data: Name, age, and gender preference you provide during setup, stored in your device's local storage.
- Usage Data: Session duration and match counts, used to display online user counts.
2. Information We Do NOT Collect

- To improve app performance and fix issues.
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Firebase (Google) — authentication and analytics.
- MongoDB Atlas — storing IP ban records.
- Vercel — hosting the web application.
- Railway — hosting the backend server.
- Google AdSense — displaying advertisements (may use cookies).
5. Cookies
VoidCall uses cookies and local storage to remember your preferences (gender, match filter). Google AdSense may use cookies to show relevant ads. You can disable cookies in your browser settings.
6. Children's Privacy
VoidCall is intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18. If you believe a child has used our service, contact us immediately.
7. Data Retention
We follow a minimal data retention policy in compliance with India's Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023:
- IP Addresses (non-banned users): Not stored. Your IP is only used in memory during an active session and is never written to disk.
- IP Addresses (banned users): Stored in our database for 2 years from the date of the ban to prevent re-entry. After 2 years, ban records are automatically deleted unless the violation was severe (e.g., illegal content), in which case the record may be retained for up to 5 years.
- Firebase Authentication Data: Retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time.
- Session / Usage Data: Not stored permanently. Online counts are held in server memory only and reset on server restart.
- Chat Messages: Never stored. Messages exist only during the active call.
We do not retain any personal data beyond what is necessary for the purposes described in this policy.
